​Palm Beach County Water Utilities Department (PBCWUD) is conducting work on a necessary repair to a water main at the intersection of Old Okeechobee Rd. and N. Florida Mango Rd. in West Palm Beach. The repair work is taking place on Old Okeechobee Rd. between N. Florida Mango Rd. and Donna Rd. 

The repair work began on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. and will require the closure of east- and westbound lanes on Old Okeechobee Rd., requiring motorists to be diverted either north or south on N. Florida Mango Rd. until the repair is complete. PBCWUD crews will remain onsite during the project. 

All necessary devices will be in place to redirect traffic as needed. PBCWUD expects work to be ongoing for this repair until further notice and is urging commuters to plan accordingly. 

At this time no residents or businesses are impacted; should the need for a boil water notification arise, affected customers will be notified. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank the community for patience and understanding as we complete the repairs as quickly and safely as possible.
