INCREASE IN WATER, WASTEWATER AND RECLAIMED WATER RATES AND GUARANTEED
REVENUE FEES EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 1, 2025
Palm Beach County Ordinance 21-008 authorizes the indexing of guaranteed revenue fees, base
facility fees and commodity fees annually.
The ordinance provides that the rates be adjusted based on 75% of the prior year’s Consumer Price
Index (CPI) increase for Water and Sewage Maintenance, measured July to July.
The published CPI Increase for Water and Sewer Maintenance for that period was 4.916%
resulting in a rate increase of 3.687% effective October 1, 2025.

La Ordenanza 21-008 del Condado de Palm Beach autoriza la indexación anual de las cuotas de
ingresos garantizados, las cuotas base por instalaciones y las cuotas por productos básicos.
La ordenanza dispone que las tarifas se ajusten con base en el 75 % del aumento del Índice de
Precios al Consumidor (IPC) del año anterior para el Mantenimiento de Agua y Alcantarillado, medido
de julio a julio.
El aumento del IPC publicado para el Mantenimiento de Agua y Alcantarillado para ese período fue
del 4.916 %, lo que resultó en un aumento de tarifas del 3.687 % a partir del 1 de octubre de 2025.
