Water Utilities Crews to Maintain Vigilance Throughout Holiday Season

While much of Palm Beach County pauses as we enter the final week of 2017, the Palm Beach County Water Utilities Department (PBCWUD) will maintain it viligance to ensure the drinking water distribution system and wastewater collection ​service experiences no interruption of service this holiday season.

PBCWUD staff will continue to work to ensure the highest quality of drinking water is delivered to the more than 590,000 customers that are served by the county's water utilities department. This includes crews manning each of the five PBCWUD owned water treatment plants 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Likewise, staff will be present at all timeas at the Southern Region Water Reclamation Facility as well as at both wastewater plants that serve the Glades area.

PBCWUD crews will also be ready to respond to any emergencies that may arise during the holiday season. Any customers experiencing an emergency can call the PBCWUD Emergency Hotline by dialing (561) 740-4600, option 1.
