A boil water notice is a precautionary measure when repairs are needed for a water main. If the water service in your area needs to be interrupted to make these repairs, we will notify you if you need to boil your water. PBCWUD contacts customers though multiple methods, including via door hangers, local media announcements, bulletin boards, and automated phone calls.
PBCWUD recommends every customer register with

This Notification System is managed by Palm Beach County Emergency Management and allows you to opt-in to receive notifications via phone calls, text messaging, e-mail, and more based on the locations that affect you.
