The use of balloons is now prohibited at the following beachfront parks: Carlin Park, Coral Cove Park, DuBois Park, Jupiter Beach Park, Loggerhead Park, Ocean Cay Park, Ocean Reef Park, Ocean Ridge Hammock Park, Peanut Island Park, Phil Foster Park, R.G. Kreusler Park, Ocean Inlet Park and South Inlet Park. Loggerhead Marinelife Center and Palm Beach County have committed to the prohibition of balloons at these parks in an effort to promote the safety and protection of sea turtles.
