Spay/Neuter is the most humane way to reduce the number of unwanted puppies and kittens born each day. Millions of unwanted animals die unnecessarily each year. Spay/neutering your pet may also prevent some medical and behavioral problems, allowing your pet to lead a longer, healthier, and happier life.

Palm Beach County Animal Care and Control assesses and alters our monthly sterilization calendars to provide a dynamic response to the needs of our community.

Due to ongoing overcrowding issues at our facility, planned surgical dates may be cancelled with notice if the surgical space is occupied with overflow animals from the Kennels.

Community Cats

Community cats are unowned free roaming cats that are cared for by local residents. The goal of TNVR (Trap-Neuter- Vaccinate- Return to Home) is to manage free roaming cat populations through sterilization and to stop the spread of disease through vaccination. Any unowned, free roaming or feral cat can qualify.

Community Cat Package Includes: Includes spay/neuter, rabies vaccine, microchip, annual vaccines, and one dose of protection against fleas and ticks. All community cats will receive a left ear tip. Cost: FREE!
