Clear The Shelters Pet Adoption Event!
August 23 - September 19, 2021

Animal shelters across the country are once again teaming up with NBC and Telemundo stations to find loving homes for pets in need with the Clear The Shelters pet adoption and donation campaign.  Palm Beach County Animal Care and Control is just one of many local adoption centers who will be participating!

To celebrate, we will be offering Name Your Price pet adoptions (you as the adopter get to select your own adoption fee) on all pets in the adoption program;  pets age 6 years and older are free to adopt!

All adopted pets will go home with a goodie bag courtesy of Hill's Science Diet and a voucher for a free rabies shot and county license tag for the following year.

Volunteers are needed for the sixth annual Countdown 2 Zero (C2Z) Adoption Event presented by the Lois Pope LIFE Foundation. The event will be held on Saturday, September 28, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. inside the air-conditioned East Expo Center at the South Florida Fairgrounds in West Palm Beach.

This is the area’s largest local pet adoption event and will feature hundreds of adoptable dogs, cats, puppies, kittens, rabbits, birds and more seeking new families and homes. Admission and parking are free.

Organized by Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League and Palm Beach County Animal Care and Control, the Countdown 2 Zero Adoption Event is a collaborative effort of over 20 local animal rescue organizations to save the lives of animals in Palm Beach County. The past five C2Z adoption events resulted in more than 1,300 animals finding new forever homes.

If you would like to volunteer for the event, please click here to review available positions and duties.
