​The seventh annual Countdown 2 Zero (C2Z) Adoption Event will be held September 26th, 2020 thru October 3rd, 2020 and this year we are going virtual! On Saturday, September 26th, be sure to tune into our Virtual Kick-Off Celebration from 10am to 4pm where we will be featuring adoptable pets and highlighting some participating rescues on the Countdown 2 Zero social media pages. There will also be a Virtual Adoption Fair open for you to check out our generous sponsors and connect with participating rescues. Adopters will even have the opportunity to do a live video chat with participating rescues to learn more about pet adoption and any pets they are interested in. The rest of the week we will continue spotlighting local adoptable pets and rescues and the Virtual Adoption Fair will remain open, however the live video chat will only be active during the Virtual Kick-Off Celebration. Hundreds of adoptable pets will be at your fingertips!

Organized by Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League and Palm Beach County Animal Care and Control, the Countdown 2 Zero Adoption Event is a collaborative effort of over 20 local animal rescue organizations to save the lives of animals in Palm Beach County.  The past six C2Z adoption events found over 1,500 animals their forever homes.

Many of the rescue groups will offer special discounts and adoption incentives, and all new pet parents will receive a virtual adopter goody bag featuring discounts and deals from some of our generous sponsors.  In addition, rabies license tags will be complimentary for each adopted pet that will reside in Palm Beach County.​
