On behalf of the Cassville, New Jersey, FireDepartment, the Honor Guard and Pipes & Drums rendered honors to Chief John Kebeck on 3-4-24 at Palms West Funeral Home.We are often called upon to render honors to firefighters who retire in our area from other parts of the country. The Fire Service knows no jurisdictional boundaries when it comes tosupporting other fire departments in their time of need.Honor Guards from four partner fire departments joined us for our annual September 11thRemembrance Ceremony to honor the lives and sacrifices of the 343 firefighters who died at the World Trade Center in 2001. We also paid tribute to the police officers and civilians who lost their lives. Ceremonial aspects of the ceremony included tolling of the bell, Amazing Grace and video of 3-roundvolley gun salute.8
