SEMINOLE MAROON REMEMBRANCE

This event highlights the history of the allied Seminoles and African American Seminole Maroons and their bravery during the Seminole Wars. The event features rituals/ceremonies, lectures, exhibitors, vendors and more. Presented by the Florida Black Historical Research Project, Inc. in cooperation with the Loxahatchee Battlefield Preservationists. This event takes place at Loxahatchee River Battlefield Park (adjacent to Riverbend Park).
BATTLE OF THE LOXAHATCHEE REENACTMENT

Bring the family to Loxahatchee River Battlefield Park (adjacent to Riverbend Park) to experience a day of Florida history. There will be period dressed reenactors, U.S. Army and Seminole camps, exhibitors, guest speakers, battlefield tours, weapons demonstrations and a battle reenactment. A food truck will also be at the event.
