Leaves seem to crunch underfoot as you walk by Clyde Butcher's life-size image of a hardwood hammock. Completed in the spring of 2003, this exciting exhibit presents an overview of the three major ecosystems found in Palm Beach County.

Each is unique, yet interconnected, as you will discover through hands-on activities, live animal exhibits and colorful displays.

Live animal exhibits fill this peaceful room. Stroll along enjoying glimpses into the aquatic world, the mysterious realm of our snakes and be careful not to startle our feathered friends. Can you guess who they are?

Don't forget to relax and enjoy nature at the viewing window; it overlooks an active bird feeder and tranquil pond.
