Nature Center Programming
Daggerwing Nature Center, Burt Aaronson South County Regional Park, west of Boca Raton
Green Cay Nature Center and Wetlands, Boynton Beach
Okeeheelee Nature Center, Okeeheelee Park, west of West Palm Beach

Program Standards
• Program registration is required for all programs. Online pre-registration or program site day of sign-in sheet to include County Participation and COVID-19 Indemnification.   
• Online registration and online payment is required for all fee-based programs. (credit card is preferred payment when paying in person)
• Fitness/Wellness activities will take place in open green space and/or athletic fields. The program instructor and program participants will have their own designated space. Space will be may be marked off using athletic field paint, cones or other athletic field markers.
• Program instructors will ensure compliance with all local (county) emergency orders and CDC guidelines.
• Program instructors and volunteers will regularly clean and disinfect surfaces and equipment touched by employees, volunteers and participants in accordance with CDC guidelines, SDS cleaning products, etc. 
Enhanced Cleaning
• Prior to, when applicable during program and at the conclusion of the program, all equipment will be  cleaned and disinfected using CDC approved cleaning and disinfectant products in accordance with SDS product labels and CDC guidelines. 
• There will be no shared equipment during the program. Participants/Employees/Volunteers will use their designated equipment during program. 
• At the conclusion of the program, participants, instructors and volunteers will place equipment in a designated spot/location.
• Recreation program staff and volunteers will clean and disinfect prior to next use or storage of equipment per the guidelines above. 
Program Participation
• Program participation attendance will vary based on what the Department determines allowable; not to exceed CDC guidelines and emergency orders.
• To provide the safest possible environment due to COVID-19, we encourage participants to register online prior to class; please allow extra time for in-person registration onsite.
• Participants are encouraged to show up 15 minutes prior to the start of a program and must sign-in prior to the start of the program.
• Fitness Groups/Sports Activities: may be limited to 50 or less people. 
• Outdoor Adventure programs may be limited to no more than 8 participants per program.
• Conduct Individual or group instruction with appropriate physical distancing of at least 6 feet, unless the individuals are from the same household.
• Groups should also physically distance from other groups.
• Those who are sick or symptomatic must not participate in programs.
