Reservations are required for ALL programs (unless otherwise noted). All participants are required to sign a Program Participation Form and COVID-19 Waiver before each program.

TO REGISTER and MAKE PAYMENT for PROGRAMS:
Online - Select the “Online Services” tab at the top of this page and click on Register/Pay for Program; Login with your username and password. (New users must create a household account online-please follow online instructions)

In Person - Visit the nature center during operating hours.

FLORIDA ANIMALS
Saturday, September 25, 10:30 a.m.
Ages 5+, $3/participant (Reservations required)
Meet live animals that can be found right here in Florida! Learn how these native creatures are adapted to survive in the many habitats found in our home state.

OCTOBER


MOTHER NATURE & ME: SUPER SNAKES

CREEPY CRITTERS

Do spiders make you jump? Do snakes make you scream?  Meet several live animals up-close that many consider creepy and learn how these creatures are uniquely special and important to the environment.

ANIMAL KEEPER FOR A DAY
Friday, October 15, 10:00 a.m.
Ages 8+, $10/participant (Reservations required)
Animal keepers have the coolest job! Work behind the scenes with animal care staff and volunteers to feed diets, clean exhibits, and provide enrichments to the animals at the nature center. Learn what it takes to care for these special animal ambassadors.

All ages, FREE (Reservations not required)
Bring the kids in costume and enjoy not-so-scary Halloween games and crafts* while learning about nocturnal creatures such as owls, toads, snakes and spiders! Remember to bring a flashlight and bug spray to continue the adventure outside along the boardwalk at night! *While supplies last.
