March is Florida Archaeology Month! Florida Archaeology Month is a statewide celebration of programming and events to bring awareness to the history of Florida and the importance of preservation. Supporting local organizations and museums help educate the community to learn about archaeology and Florida’s historical resources.

Through engaging lectures led by local archaeologists, participants will discover new knowledge and perspectives about Florida’s history. These programs encourage lifelong learning and provide meaningful experiences that enrich overall quality of life.

Cultural and historical programs offer opportunities for participants to learn more about the history of Palm Beach County and experience other cultural perspectives. Programs and services include battlefield tours, living history tours, Sawmill Saturday, Farmstead Special Events, Libation and Remembrance Ceremony, Battlefield Reenactment, various archaeological, cultural and historical related community and countywide special events, DuBois Home Tours and programs and services offered through Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens.
