​PROJECT STATUS

COMPLETED FEBRUARY 2021​

  • Approximately 1,200,000 cubic yards of sand was pumped ashore replacing the 990,000 cubic yards of sand lost as a result of Hurricane Irma​​​.
  • The newly stabilized beach/dune system will enhance resiliency/storm protection, recreational opportunities, and sea turtle nesting habitat along 2.42 miles along the coast of the towns of Jupiter and Juno Beach, from Beach Access 33 to the Juno Ocean Club Condominium.
