Art. 7, Landscaping

The Landscape Subcommittee will reconvene on March 21, 2018 to address pending topics such as easement conflicts in landscape islands and FPL requirements for vegetation under power lines.

The Subcommittee will be making recommendations for Unified Land Development Code (ULDC) amendments to be presented to the Land Development Regulation Advisory Board (LDRAB) and the Board of County Commissioners (BCC) tentatively in Round 2018-01. (Adoption August 2018)

Medical Uses

The Medical Uses Subcommittee will convene on March 29, 2018 to address pending topics and discuss existing Medical Uses (Nursing Homes, Congregate Living Facilities (CLF), Sober Homes and Reasonable Accommodations; to determine if amendments are necessary to our regulations to address changing State requirements for services.

The Subcommittee will be making recommendations for Unified Land Development Code (ULDC) amendments to be presented to the Land Development Regulation Advisory Board (LDRAB) and the Board of County Commissioners (BCC) tentatively in Round 2018-01 or 2018-02 for adoption

Equestrian Waste

The Equestrian Waste Subcommittee will convene on March 19, 2018 to address amendments to the Unified Land Development Code (ULDC) that are necessary to address the one year moratorium upon the acceptance of zoning applications and all applicable requests for zoning approvals for Equestrian Waste Management Facilities, or any composting use that includes equestrian waste, animal waste or Bio Solids located in the Glades Tier of unincorporated Palm Beach County, excluding accessory uses to Bonafide Agricultural operations amending Article 4 Use Regulations.

The Subcommittee will be making recommendations for Unified Land Development Code (ULDC) amendments to be presented to the Land Development Regulation Advisory Board (LDRAB) and the Board of County Commissioners (BCC) tentatively in Round 2018-01 (August 2018 adoption)

Art. 15, Health Regulations [Related to Onsite Sewage Treatment] 

The Subcommittee will convene on April 11, 2018 to address the Land Development Regulation Advisory Board (LDRAB) comments raised at the February 28, 2018 meeting related to proposed amendments to the onsite sewage treatment and disposal system.


The Subcommittee will be making recommendations for Unified Land Development Code (ULDC) amendments to be presented to the Land Development Regulation Advisory Board (LDRAB) and the Board of County Commissioners (BCC) tentatively in Round 2018-01. (August 2018 adoption)
