One of these decals is required on every vehicle for hire operating in Palm Beach County:
- Non-emergency medical transport vehicle/para-transit
Look for the decal on the passenger side, lower corner, inside the windshield. It should be clearly visible. This is your assurance that the vehicle for hire company is properly and currently permitted to operate in Palm Beach County.
The NAVY decal on the windshield means
this company is licensed for taxicab or Non-emergency medical transport vehicle/para-transit transportation only.
The GOLDENROD decal means the company is a non-taxi licensed to pickup and drop off in Palm Beach County but
NOT Palm Beach International Airport.
The ORANGE decal is used for taxi and non-taxi companies who purchased an airport decal along with the county decal. The company may pick up and drop off customers at Palm Beach International Airport.
