Cancellation Policy
For individual sites, cancellations with a full refund are permitted up to seven days prior to your scheduled arrival date. Refunds may take up to 3 to 5 business days to be completed. Reservations of one month or longer will be charged a non-refundable $300 fee. Reservations cancelled less than 1 week prior to the scheduled arrival date will be charged site rental for one day. Reservations cancelled on the day of arrival will be charged site rental for two days. There are no refunds after check-in.

Mail Policy
The campground's mailing address is 4759 South Congress Avenue, Lake Worth, Florida 33461. Due to our limited office space, only letter mail and small parcels from USPS is held at the office. Please ensure to have your site number listed on the address as well. Amazon, UPS, and FedEx will deliver directly to your site. USPS will deliver small parcels to the Campground Office, and other parcels will be held for you at the local post office located at 4151 Lake Worth Rd, Lake Worth, FL 33461.
Visiting Hours
Visiting hours are from 7:00 am until 10:00 pm. All visitors must vacate the park or you will be subject to additional fees for extra vehicles. On arrival you will be issued a gate code. Do not give your code to friends or family.
John Prince Park Campground – RV Camping Rules & Regulations
As a condition of booking a campsite at John Prince Park Campground, you agree to abide by the Rules, Regulations, Policies and Procedures of the campground as follows:
1. RESERVATION INFORMATION
A. Campers must be at least 18 years of age and provide drivers license to receive camping permit.
B. Reservations must be made in the name of the individual staying in the camping unit on the campsite.
C. Reservations are not transferable to another individual.
D. Reservations are accepted up to 90 days in advance.
E. Reservations for camping units are limited to 155 days in any 12 month period.
F. Lakefront sites may be occupied for a maximum of 14 days in a 28 day period. Guests may not move from one 14-day site to another.
G. All vehicles must remain in working condition at all times; motor homes must be able to move under their own power; travel trailers and fifth wheels must have a working tow vehicle on site for the duration of reservation.
H. Cash is not accepted at the office for any transactions.
I. A maximum of 6 people are allowed per site. The camping fee covers the first 5 people, the extra person requires an additional fee to be paid upon check-in.
J. 1 sleeping unit and 1 vehicle (or 2 motorcycles) are allowed.
K. Any additional vehicles, motorcycles, utility trailers, boats, etc. will be charged a daily fee and must be parked in the overflow parking area.
2. CAMPSITE RESTRICTIONS
A. Rugs, mats, and other ground covers are to be used on campsite pads only. Anything that covers the grass (tents, screen houses, canopies, etc.) should be moved often enough to prevent grass from dying. Limit one 10' x 10' screen house or canopy.
B. No amplified music permitted.
C. Quiet time is 10:00 p.m. to sunrise for all campers.
D. Please do not use the trees, bushes, or plants for clothing lines or hammocks.
E. Do not give your Gate Code to Visitors. All Visitors, delivery drivers, and guests must check-in in to the office for a visitor pass.
F. Campsites must be kept neat and free of debris.
G. Parking on the grass or empty campsites is prohibited. Any extra vehicles, trailers, or boats must be stored in our overflow parking lot and will be charged a daily fee. H. Guests are not to remove, damage, or deface trees, shrubs, or other county property. All wildlife is protected by County Ordinance. Please do not feed wildlife, including birds, as this causes them to become dependent on humans for their food.
I. Failure to keep an up-to-date vehicle registration may result in expulsion from the Campground.
3. PETS
A. Pets must be attended to and kept on a leash at all times.
B. Maximum 3 pets per site and pets must be picked up after.
4. CHECK IN/CHECK OUT
A. All guests are to be registered at the campground office upon arrival.
B. The following items are required at check-in. You will not be allowed to enter the Campground without the following items:
a) Valid IDs for all adults staying for the reservation
b) Valid and up-to-date vehicle registration for camping unit (Name on registration must match the name on the reservation)
c) Valid insurance for camping unit (If applicable)
d) RVIA Certification number of camping unit (located on a sticker near the door of most RVs)
e) If renting an RV, a rental agreement with the name on the agreement matching the name on the reservation is required.
C. Check In – Anytime after 1:00pm. Call the office at (561) 582-7992 if arriving after 9 PM.
D. Check Out – By 11:00 a.m. – Please drop off your car pass in the kiosk or notify us by calling the office (561) 582-7992 when you have successfully checked out.
E. Extensions: Please be sure to communicate to office staff immediately if you will be extending and ensure the payment is made prior to check-out date. Payment for extensions is due by 11:00 am on your scheduled due date.
5. CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
A. Full Refunds will be authorized for stays of less than one (1) month up until one (1) week before the check in date. (1:00 pm), otherwise the cancellation fee will be equal to one (1) night’s stay. - Reservations cancelled on the day of arrival will be charged for two (2) days.
B. Reservations of one (1) month or longer will be charged a non-refundable $300 fee.
C. Refunds will not be given when camping privileges are revoked for not camping within the park rules.
D. Refunds will not be given for bad weather or failure to bring necessary supplies.
E. No Refunds will be given after check-in.
F. Moving your scheduled check-in date to a later date is prohibited. We will hold your site for you as a courtesy until you arrive.
6. GROUNDS FOR EXPULSION
Guests who engage in any of the following may be subject to expulsion from the campground and face a possible ban from all Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation Campgrounds for a period of up to 1 year.
A. Violence: Guests who engage in any act of violence will be asked to vacate the premises immediately.
B. Drunken and Disorderly Conduct: Any occurrence of drunken or disorderly conduct will be cause for immediate expulsion.
C. Disturbing the Peace
D. Pet Violations: Pets are to be kept attended and under your direct control at all times. No more than 3 pets are a allowed on a campsite. Guests must clean up after their pets. Pets are to be kept on a leash of 6 feet or less at all times. Pets must not disturb other guests with barking or aggressive behavior.
E. Failure to Comply: With Rules and Regulations in accordance with Palm Beach County Code, Chapter 21.
7. EVICTION PER PALM BEACH COUNTY CODE CHAPTER 21
Management reserves the right to evict anyone for behavior detrimental to the campground and its visitors, or failing to observe the procedures as per Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation Code Chapter 21 [external link]. A copy is available for review in the office.

E. A valid driver’s license or picture ID for every adult is required.
F. Reservations are accepted up to 90 days in advance.
G. Tent Camping is limited to 3 days in a 60-Day Period.
H. Tents must be commercially manufactured from flame retardant material and no larger than 12’ x 16’.
I. Tents should be placed off shelled or asphalt pads.
J. Cash is not accepted at the office for any transactions.
K. 1 sleeping unit and 1 vehicle (or 2 motorcycles) are allowed.
L. Additional vehicles, motorcycles, utility trailers, boats, etc. will be charged a daily fee and must be parked in the overflow parking area.
M. Campsites must be kept neat and free of debris.
2. CAMPSITE RESTRICTIONS
A. No rugs are permitted on the grass.
B. No amplified music permitted.
C. Quiet time is 10:00 p.m. to sunrise for all campers.

E. Campsites must be kept neat and free of debris.
F. Shade tents must be see-through from all sides, open flooring, no larger than 10 feet by 10 feet, and must not intrude on another campsite’s space.
G. Parking on the grass or empty campsites is prohibited. Any extra vehicles, trailers, or boats must be stored in our overflow parking lot and will be charged a daily fee. H. Guests are not to remove, damage, or deface trees, shrubs, or other county property. All wildlife is protected by County Ordinance. Please do not feed wildlife, including birds, as this causes them to become dependent on humans for their food.
I. A maximum of 6 registered guests per site may visit until 10:00 p.m.
J. Do not give your Gate Code to any visitors. All visitors, delivery drivers, and guests must check-in to the office for a visitor pass.
3. FIRES
A. Open fires are not permitted anywhere in the park.
B. Controlled fires within the Communal Fire Ring are permitted.
C. NO ALCOHOL IN CONTROLLED FIRE RING
D. Do not use firewood in campsite grills.
4. PETS
A. Pets must be attended to and kept on a 6 foot leash at all times. Maximum 3 pets per site and pets must be picked up after.
5. CHECK IN/CHECK OUT
A. All guests are to be registered at the campground office upon arrival.
B. Driver’s license must be ready at the time of check in.
C. Check In – Anytime after 1:00pm. Check Out – By 11:00 a.m.
D. Payment for extensions is due by 11:00 am on your scheduled due date.
