All programs are by reservation only, unless otherwise stated. Please call (561) 233-1400 or visit the nature center to make program reservations. Please make reservations at least two days in advance. Fees (if applicable) are due upon arrival to the program by form of cash or check. All participants are required to sign a Program Participation Form for every program. If you are more than five minutes late to a program you have made a reservation for, your spot will be given to a person on the waiting list.

REPTILE FEEDING
Wednesdays, 3:30 p.m. & Saturdays, 1:00 p.m.

OWL FEEDING
Thursdays, 3:30 p.m.

SNAKE FEEDING
Fridays, 3:30 p.m.

GEOLOGY 101
Saturday, June 1, 10:30 a.m. 
Ages 8+, $3/participant (Reservations required)
Learn about the basics of geology and what Florida has to offer in the world of rocks! Participants will be able to choose and crack open their own geodes and take them home. 

ARCHERY FOR BEGINNERS
Saturday, June 8, 9:30 a.m.
Ages 8+, $10/participant (Reservations required)
Learn the basics of archery from safety to shooting and develop a great new skill during this two-hour program. Equipment is provided. Space is limited.

JUNIOR NATURALIST: BIRDS
Saturday, June 15, 10:00 a.m.
Ages 8-12, $10/participant (Reservations required)
In this hands-on class just for kids, find out what all birds have in common and learn about their adaptations and behavior. Kids will dissect an owl pellet, discover how raptors fit into the food web and say hello to a few of the live raptors that live at the nature center.

NATURE WALK
Saturday, June 22, 10:30 a.m.
Families/all ages, FREE (No reservations required)
Go on a FREE guided nature walk through the pine flatwoods ecosystem and learn about the plants and animals that live right here in the local community.

REMARKABLE REPTILES 
Saturday, June 29, 10:30 a.m.
Families/all ages, $3/participant (Reservations required)
Uncover the truth about some of the world’s most misunderstood animals—reptiles! Learn about the characteristics that make reptiles so unique and discover the important roles they play in the environment. Participants will even get to meet some of the nature center’s reptile ambassadors up close!
