Description | This indoor presentation explores the fascinating relationship between Florida’s first inhabitants and the plants they used over 12,000 years ago. Discover intriguing insights into how local plants may have benefited early Palm Beach County residents, including the potential plant consumption by Mastodons! The presentation will showcase examples of native plants found in our region, accompanied by handouts. Followed by an optional boardwalk tour identifying program plants discussed - and birds/animals along the way!
