CALLING ALL VOLUNTEERS AND FOSTERS!!!
It's that time of year again. Can you help us?
Kitten season is the time of year when Momma cats give birth to large litters of kittens. Moms and kittens will soon start pouring into our shelter and this year we want to make a difference! We want to save as many lives as possible! Many of these kittens, for numerous reasons, will get separated from their mother and will not survive without our help.
This year, Palm Beach County Animal Care and Control will have a Kitten Nursery to keep these little ones safe until they can be sent to a foster home or to rescue.
We are asking for help from volunteers to assist us in running the Nursery until 11pm each night.
Duties include feeding, cleaning and stimulating the kittens, keeping the kittens warm, prepping foster supply packages, administering meds under the guidance of clinic staff, making phone calls to potential foster parents, releasing kittens to foster parents and other care related activities.
The benefits of a successful nursery during this coming kitten season are huge - more innocent lives than ever can be saved... but we can only do it with your help. We ask that you sign up to help in our nursery for a few shifts per week. It would mean the difference between life and death for many kittens.

If you want to help, but can't commit to nursery shifts, please consider becoming a Foster Parent to a mom and her babies, a kitten, or a dog in need. They all need our help.
