The County Engineer is authorized to make certain exceptions to the platting requirement for certain types of minor subdivision. After review of a preliminary subdivision plan, the County Engineer may determine that the proposed subdivision meets one of the conditions specified in Sec. 11.A.8.B or C ULDC and may waive the requirement to record a plat. A certified survey is then recorded in lieu of a plat, along with an affidavit documenting approval of the waiver and establishing restrictive covenants as needed for the subdivision.

Please note that a $1,385.00​​ fee has been established to help cover our processing costs. A check or money order in this amount, made payable to the Board of County Commissioners, Palm Beach County, should accompany the application.
