  • Question Mark IconWhy do some properties have two land use designations on the Future Land Use Atlas (FLUA) maps?

‚ÄčA dual Land Use Designation is shown on the FLUA maps as a designation followed by a slash mark and another designation (example: CH/8 which means Commercial High with an underlying High Residential 8 dwelling units per acre). The second designation is considered underlying or alternative and is independent of the first designation. This gives the affected property two separate development potentials.
