Special Olympics Florida-Palm Beach County (SOFL-PBC) provides year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic type sports  for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympic athletes and the community.  SOFL-PBC supports over 1,500 athletes with intellectual disabilities throughout Palm Beach County.​

Volunteer and Coaching opportunities are available throughout the county, as well as training courses for those interested in becoming a Certified Special Olympics Coach. Young Athletes

A Special Olympics Program for Children ages 2-7

Young Athletes is a fun sports play program focusing on physical activities and social skills for young children with intellectual disabilities. Families play together in our Free community based program on Saturdays!
Schools and agencies can also run Special Olympics Young Athletes programs at their site with the free equipment, supplies and training we provide.
