The Wire Grass Loop (yellow trail) and the Old Wire Trail (Blue trail) will be closed to hikers until further notice.
All visitors to the natural areas must follow Center for Disease Control Guidelines and the County’s Emergency Orders.
FAMILIARIZE YOURSELF WITH BOTH AT THE LINKS PROVIDED BELOW AND
Wear face coverings, recreate in groups less than 10, maintain social distance of at least 6 feet apart while on the trails, and avoid touching common surfaces such as handrails, benches, etc. to be safe while visiting.

Wading Bird Haven
A wetland wonderland, the 6,651-acre Pine Glades Natural Area attracts colorful wading birds including roseate spoonbill, great blue heron, little blue heron and white ibis. Great place to capture an image in nature or bring your kayak or canoe to explore the wetlands.
