Swimming Lessons Applications are only for qualified children between the ages of 2-12, who are non swimmers, foster children, Palm Beach County residents, and receive either Medicaid, Florida Kid Care, Healthy Kids, special needs or the parents receive food stamps or Section 8 housing. One application per child needs to be filled out.

Mission

To prevent drowning, near-drowning and other water-related incidents in Palm Beach County by educating residents on water safety and basic rescue techniques.

The number one cause of drowning in both Palm Beach County and the U.S. is Unsupervised Water Activity.

Ages 1-4 have the highest drowning rate in Palm Beach County*.
