The 2016 Annual Climate Leadership Summit has been cancelled

Body

It is with regret that Palm Beach County, the City of West Palm Beach, and the Southeast Florida Regional Climate Change Compact announce the cancellation of the 2016 Annual Climate Leadership Summit.  The Summit, originally postponed due to Hurricane Matthew, will not be rescheduled due to logistical concerns.  Full refunds will be provided to all paid registrants.  The process for refunds is being worked out and details will be released late this week or early next week. We ask your patience as we work through this process. Our sincere thanks goes out to all the sponsors and speakers that so graciously offered their time and financial support to this event and all those that were registered to attend.  Planning is already underway for next year's Annual Summit in Fort Lauderdale in December 2017 and we hope that you will be able to join us there.

Be assured, Compact capacity-building events supporting city and county government implementation of the Regional Climate Action Plan (RCAP) will continue as scheduled through the end of this year and the Compact will be increasingly focused on refreshing the RCAP in 2017 with an anticipated release of RCAP 2.0 by the 2017 Summit in Fort Lauderdale next December. Please stay tuned for more information regarding our continuing work to build regional resilience and reduce emissions associated with global climate change.
