Mission Statement:

The Impact Fee Manager administers the Countywide impact fee system; approves all applications for impact fee credits, refunds and independent calculations; trains and advises County and municipal staff on impact fee matters; and has overall administrative and interpretive responsibility for the County impact fee ordinance.

This web site has been designed to provide ready access to key information on impact fees such as the Impact Fee Ordinance, Article 13, fee schedules and applications. Frequently asked questions gives answers to common impact fee concerns.

To The Building Community

Effective January 1, 2024 at 12:01 A.M.  Palm Beach County Impact Fees will change.  Fee schedule changes will affect new construction and additions.  The Impact Fee components that will change are:

  • Parks
  • Roads
  • Schools
  • Libraries
  • Fire Rescue
  • Public Buildings
  • Law Enforcement

All completed building permit applications received after 11:59 P.M. on December 31, 2023​, will be subject to the Impact Fee rates in effect on the permit issuance dateNew Impact Fee schedules are available at the Building Department and the Impact Fee Office.
