Honor Guard Member AccomplishmentsHonor Guard member, Lt. Shawn Niedbalski (ret) (L in photo) achieved Life Member status in 2023. We had an impromptu ceremony at one of our quarterly meetings to present him with his Life Member pin. This pin is worn on the Honor Guard Class A uniform. 1-16-24Division Chief Sean Pamplona has been an Honor Guard member for 23 years, joining in 2002. He retired from Palm Beach County Fire Rescue in 2024. There was a retirement celebration on 3-29-24. Several Honor Guard members were there to help present a sabre, which is the symbol of a Commander. Sean was our first Commander, serving in that role from 2003 to 2010. He is a Life Member and will be available for Honor Guard duty as needed.28
