Handles employee complaints of discrimination and harassment. The section conducts internal investigations and prepares position statements and resolutions for complaints filed with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and Florida Commission of Human Relations (FCHR).

Staff prepares and monitors the annual Affirmative Action Plan.  The section handles requests for accommodation under the Americans with Disability Act (ADA) and assists with Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) issues. They are also responsible for providing supervisory training on Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO)/ADA and sexual harassment law and issues.
