Both of the intertidal islands are complete and have been planted with red mangroves. All of the oyster reefs are in place, and the bird nesting mounds are open and ready for use. The project is already providing valuable habitat for fish, invertebrates and birds, as well as providing opportunities for passive recreation for the public.
