Welcome to the newly updated Palm Beach County Climate Resilience and Sustainability webpage! We will continue to update and expand the page so check back for new information. Much has changed on the website including combining both climate change and sustainability information into one central location on the County's site.

There is a strong relationship between sustainability and climate change impacts. As the effects of climate change impact natural and human living conditions, including social and economic development, it becomes increasingly important to adapt, focus on sustainable development, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, mitigate future intensification of climate change impacts, and reduce our vulnerability. Strategies to promote sustainable living and communities and develop climate resilience have many common elements; jointly addressing them creates co-benefits and opportunities.
