Palm Beach County can provide an array of Disaster Recovery services based on an organization’s needs. The offerings range from simple data transport to the Northwest Regional Data Center via the Palm Beach County fiber-optic and WiMax network, and the Florida LambdaRail network to a fully customized disaster recovery deployment.

Palm Beach County Hosting can provide any organization with a highly available and dedicated VMware cloud platform built on the latest technology. Our hosting solution is built on an enterprise level hardware infrastructure that is secure, reliable and scalable.

Palm Beach County also offers Co-Location services, which allows customers to install their own equipment within one of our Data Centers. Currently, our EOC site is full and our Governmental Center site has limited space; however, we are building a new Data Center that will have capacity to meet customer requirements and is scheduled to be available to customers in early 2016.

PBCnet, the County’s advanced broadband for local connectivity and Internet access, provides both the necessary transport as well as Disaster Recovery, Hosting and Co-Location services. Having support 24/7 is a requisite for any critical infrastructure today. PBCnet has a dedicated local team of professionals who monitor the networks and provide responsive, business-class customer service.
