Community Engagement Task Force

Purpose

The Community Engagement Task Team was established by the Criminal Justice Commission (CJC) as a result of the 2016 Annual Planning Meeting priorities.  Its purpose is to provide information and discover how we can better serve the public. In addition, the goal is to support law enforcement by providing people with background information on issues that matter to public safety. Law enforcement continues to build on a culture of transparency and accountability to build public trust and legitimacy. These will be the pillars of the Team.  The Team aims to foster better understanding of the criminal justice system and its many facets.
