The Florida Association for Community Action Agencies (FACA) has awarded Zaida Gonzalez the "Staff of the Year" award.
Zaida is a dedicated Community Outreach Specialist II for Community Action's Family Self Sufficiency Program (FSSP). Her primary responsibility is to recruit and enroll participants into the program and then guide them through the process of successfully completing one of the many career training programs available through FSSP.
She has helped many clients on their path to self-sufficiency.
Zaida participates in various outreach events to help spread the word about our Family Self-Sufficiency Program.
She is always willing to assist our clients, whether it be through language interpretation or guidance on how to apply for our LIHEAP (electrical assistance) program. She also assists clients with our ERA (rental assistance) program.
Zaida always establishes and maintains relationships with her clients. Her willingness to stick with them throughout the process of becoming self-sufficient greatly motivates and encourages her clients to complete training and obtain employment.
Zaida strives for excellence in everything she does and is a great team player!
