Congratulations to our Community Services team for their remarkable achievement of
receiving recognition from the Sterling Council at the 31st Annual Sterling Conference
held in Orlando, Florida. The team submitted a Six Sigma Green Belt project titled “A Call to Quality Project Using the Six Sigma Problem Solving Process” in the Team
Showcase Award competition for Greatest Customer Impact. The project aimed
to curtail the frequency of emails sent by the call center agent to the consumer
application reviewer.
The Sterling Council oversees the Governor’s Sterling Award for Performance
Excellence, based on the national Malcolm Baldrige Award, with annual awards to
high-performing, role-model organizations, both private and public, who demonstrate
superior management approaches and role-model results. Sterling’s annual
conference teaches participants how to elevate performance and increase
productivity. Nearly 600 executives and professionals gather yearly at this event for
a one-stop source of education, information, and inspiration.
Congratulations again to our Community Service team members for their outstanding
work on this project. We particularly acknowledge Taruna Malhotra, the sponsor,
and Sonja Holbrook, Kim Parnett, Sammiedean Sutton, and Era Allen for their
presentation and participation during the conference. Way to go, team
