​The Palm Beach County Community Services Department held an orientation for SOFI (Securing Our Future Initiative) at the Mayme Frederick building in Riviera Beach on Monday, July 10th. Dr. James Green, the Palm Beach County Community Services Director, led the discussion and spoke about this initiative’s benefits and services. Participants also had the opportunity to describe their needs and which services would benefit them most. A staff member from Community Partners ​and an intern from Palm Beach Atlantic University were also in attendance. In addition, Sandra Tobon, Director of Housing Counseling and Community Outreach at Consolidated Credit​, discussed a variety of financial services and classes for participants to attend to build a successful financial future.
