Palm Beach County Agricultural Enhancement Council
The Agricultural Enhancement Council (AEC) is an 11 member advisory board appointed by the Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners (BCC). The AEC was established by the BCC on December 6, 1994 by R-1994-1760, and currently under R-2025-0225, adopted on February 11, 2025.
The Agricultural Enhancement Council shall have the authority to:
- Hold public information meetings for the purpose of receiving Public input on matters relating to the agricultural industry. All meetings shall be held in accordance with Section 286.011, Florida Statutes.
- Review and make recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners on all matters relating to problems and programs affecting the agricultural industry in Palm Beach County.
- Recommend priorities for maintaining and promulgating the existence of agricultural industries within the County.
- Recommend methods to facilitate the continued operation of agricultural businesses within Palm Beach County.
