Quality Assurance
​QA's function is to help ensure that the software applications developed by ISS meet and exceed the quality expectations of its customers. This is accomplished by:
  • Direct involvement throughout the life cycle of application development;
  • Participation in the definition of the functional specification and data model;
  • Development of the Graphical User Interface (GUI) specification and System manual;
  • Training of the end users along with generating the training materials; and
  • Testing of the application during all phases of development content. 

Training Program

​The ISS Training Program is designed to provide our customers with the skills required to efficiently and competently utilize the various software products employed throughout the County.

Training Delivery Strategy - The ISS Training Program utilizes a variety of training strategies depending on goals and customer needs.

  • Instructor-led classroom training
  • Lecture style presentation
  • One-on-one instruction
  • Computer-based self-paced training

Application Training - The ISS Training Program consists of a team of training specialists who are expert in the various application systems employed throughout the County. The team provides end-user training to the customers as well as implementation and ongoing support services. They specialize in:

  • Business Productivity Applications
  • ISS Developed Enterprise Applications
  • ISS Developed Specialized Departmental Applications

Technical Training - In an organization such as ISS, it is vital that the staff remain technically current. The Training Program constantly explores opportunities to host relevant technical training sessions on-site in order to impart knowledge to a larger audience in a cost effective manner.
