Palm Beach County has more than 200 licensed pest control companies, with hundreds of employees to serve our residents and businesses.  Industry professionals are responsible for termite and bedbug fumigation and treatment; rodent, ant and other structural insect treatment; landscape pest, disease and weed management; unwanted wildlife management; and mosquito control.

Commercial pesticide applicators are required to be licensed by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services in specific areas of expertise.  Palm Beach County Extension provides license test preparation training and testing through the Pesticide Safety Program and pest management workshops, information, and identification services.
