The Palm Beach County Youth Services Department held a virtual holiday celebration on December 16 hosted by the Seeds of Success cross-division action team. The event gave employees time to reflect on the department's accomplishments and come together for some holiday cheer.

The event kicked off with a welcoming and thank you from Director Tammy K. Fields and employees discussing holiday traditions they celebrate with their families.

Staff then viewed a video presentation chronicling the department from the annual retreat in the summer of 2019 through the office tree decorating which took place earlier in this month.

Event attendees enjoyed themed games including holiday trivia using Kahoot!, a virtual learning-based platform. Congratulations to winners of the trivia contest: third place, Donna Elliott; second place, Tammy K. Fields; first place, Dr. Twila Taylor.

Attendees viewed and voted on holiday office decorations. Congrats to Dayana Isoph who took first place for her “Under the Tree" theme. Lastly, employees were able to unwrap their Secret Santa gifts as the gift givers were revealed.  

The celebration concluded with employees expressing gratitude for each other and best wishes for the holidays. “We may be physically distanced, but let's never be socially distanced from each other and the children and families we serve," said Fields.
