Youth Services recently hosted Strategic Planning and Performance Management for a three-hour workshop. The department's vision and core values were reviewed and confirmed to be still relevant. Its mission statement was re-engineered and will be revealed at an upcoming retreat this summer.
The leadership team also discussed objectives and metrics, and the development of high-performance teams. The cross-division teams are expected to be announced at the retreat and will help engage employees at all levels with recommendations for process and service improvements.
