YSD Celebrates 8th Anniversary
On January 3, 2023, Youth Services celebrated its 8th Anniversary. The Seeds of Success Cross-Divisional Action team hosted the Anniversary and New Year's celebration at Highridge Family Center. The theme of the 8th anniversary celebration was a red Chinese theme with lanterns, calligraphies, and couplings. At the event, Tammy K. Fields, Director of Youth Services Department, led the toast celebration for Youth Services being certified department-wide in the Sanctuary Model of Trauma-Informed Care by the Andrus Sanctuary Institute. Dorritt M. Miller, Assistant County Administrator, also joined Youth Services for the event.
Staff enjoyed Sanctuary rebus word game, reindeer games, and lunch. This anniverary truly reflected YSD's culture, diversity, and teamwork spirit.
