On June 17, staff members participated in Residential Treatment and Family Counseling (RTFC) Division's quarterly meeting. The agenda started with a Community Meeting followed by Sanctuary “shout outs" and evidence-based praises. Continuing to work towards department-wide Sanctuary certification, Natalie Macon discussed how employees are using Sanctuary tools in their home life; and Stacey King on how one of her Highridge clients asked to do a Community Meeting with her during their visit.
A virtual teambuilding activity was facilitated by Education and Training Center staff and fun was had by all. The game winner was Dr. Amanda Terrell who found a hidden talent of solving Rebus puzzles. Employees also heard updates from the division's various programs as well as updates on all the cross-divisional teams. The meeting concluded with a decision to develop a task force to revamp RTFC's mission statement with the goal of presenting the final product at the department's Annual Retreat in July.
