The Palm Beach County Youth Services Department's Youth and Family Counseling (YFC) program is proud to share the video recap of its
2nd Annual Mental Health Family Day Camp, held on
May 10, 2025, at the
Okeeheelee Nature Center.
The event brought families together to celebrate
Mental Health Awareness and
Trauma-Informed Care Month through a variety of engaging and therapeutic activities. Designed to reduce stigma surrounding mental health and promote community healing, the day camp emphasized the importance of resilience, connection and open conversation around mental health.
Families participated in a series of interactive workshops and group sessions that encouraged collaboration, communication and social connection. Each activity was thoughtfully created to help strengthen family relationships while promoting mental wellness and emotional support.
This annual event reflects Youth Services' ongoing commitment to supporting the mental health and emotional well-being of our community.
