YSD Partners with Palm Health Foundation to Foster Community Innovation

Body

The Youth Services Department (YSD) is proud to collaborate with the Palm Health Foundation, a key partner in driving community well-being and innovation. Through events like the Train the Brain initiative, YSD joins forces with leaders such as Heather DeStefano, DSW, LCSW, Director of Grants and Community Partnerships, and Carrie Browne, Director of Stewardship and Strategic Partnerships, to promote mental wellness and strengthen community connections. The Train the Brain campaign educates residents that taking care of our brains is just as important as taking care of our bodies.

The Youth Services Department Director, Elisa Cramer, was recently appointed to the Palm Health Foundation's Community Investment Committee (CIC). The CIC plays a critical role in reviewing grant proposals and recommending funding decisions that align with the foundation's mission. This appointment reflects YSD's dedication to enhancing opportunities for youth and families through community investments.
