<div><b>Body:</b> <div class="ExternalClass11D8BA1CF2144FAF9366C0572FD419C1"><p>​<br></p><p>JULY 1, 2026- Palm Beach County Water Utilities Department (PBCWUD) is committed to educating customers about the utility's treatment process and water quality standards. PBCWUD's recently-published annual Consumer Confidence Report (CCR), also known as the Water Quality Report, is available to utility customers online, at <a href="/waterutilities/Pages/default.aspx">pbcwater.com</a>, and linked through utility customers' bills. The report shows that PBCWUD had zero water quality violations for 2025.</p><p>&#160;</p><p>PBCWUD's team of industry professionals distributes more than 60 million gallons per day of high-quality drinking water to over 645,000 residents located within 1,300 square miles of Palm Beach County. In 2025, PBCWUD conducted more than 50,000 water quality analyses to ensure it continued to meet and exceed all Federal and State water quality standards throughout the distribution system. The utility's NELAC-accredited central laboratory operates seven days a week to ensure rigorous quality standards and regulatory compliance measures are met. And the utility's team of Communications professionals operate around the clock, every day, to ensure prompt service should a customer experience an emergency with their drinking water or wastewater services.</p><p>&#160;</p><p>PBCWUD's Annual Water Quality Report is a simple and clear snapshot of the utility's commitment to delivering the best water to the residents it serves.       <title>Semiannual Water System Modification to start July 5, 2026</title>

This is only temporary and the water is safe to drink. PBCWUD drinking water treatment processes adhere to all regulatory and health department standards.</div>
<div><b>Body:</b> <div class="ExternalClass6E123E422207498C82367A5720CCAAA9"><p><span style="font-size&#58;1.5rem;letter-spacing&#58;-0.4px;">J</span><span style="font-size&#58;1.5rem;letter-spacing&#58;-0.4px;">une 2, 2026</span><span style="font-size&#58;1.5rem;letter-spacing&#58;-0.4px;"> – In order to deliver the highest quality water to customers, Palm Beach County Water Utilities (PBCWUD) requires periodic line flushing and temporary treatment modification. These modifications to the disinfection process are routine and an industry best practice as a precautionary measure to maintain drinking water quality.</span></p><p>&#160;<br></p><p>From <strong>July 5 through July 25, 2026</strong>, PBCWUD will be using 'free chlorine' as opposed to chloramine for water treatment. <strong><em>This is only temporary and the water is safe to drink.</em></strong> PBCWUD drinking water treatment processes adhere to all regulatory and health department standards. </p><p>&#160;</p><p>PBCWUD customers who use water for specialized purposes —such as fish, amphibian and reptile tanks; stores and restaurants with fish aquariums and holding tanks for fish and shellfish; along with hospitals, blood/dialysis clinics, or users of home dialysis equipment — may need to take action to maintain appropriate water quality during this temporary modification period. These customers are advised to seek professional guidance for removing chlorine residuals. </p><p>&#160;</p><p>For all other customers, there are no precautions needed.
