PBCWUD has issued a precautionary boil water notice for 300 customers in Greenacres south of 10th Ave North and east of S. 57th Ave in the vicinity of Lancaster Dr. Due to an independent contractor working in the neighborhood to install gas lines, an accidental break to PBCWUD's water line occurred.
This notice impacts all customers who reside in Greenacres on the following streets:
Lancaster Drive
Pickwick Park Drive East
Greenwich Drive
Abbey Court
Durham Court
Eaton Court
Hadley Court
As a health precaution, all water that is used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth or washing dishes should be brought to a rolling boil for a minimum of one (1) minute and cooled prior to consumption. Bottled water may be used as an alternative.
This precautionary boil water notice is in effect until further notice.
