On March 1, 2024, several staff members from the Building Division delivered multiple presentations to over 100 members of the
Broward, Palm Beaches, St. Lucie Realtors organization. The event took place at the Vista Center in West Palm Beach.
The presentations covered various topics, including new requirements for tall buildings, updates on flood zones, and search procedures related to liens, fines, open code enforcement violations and building permits.
The speakers included Doug Wise, building director; Jacquelyn Anderson, planner II; and Denise Parker, building division coordinator. Providing welcoming remarks were Whitney Carroll, the executive director of PZB and Leslie Suarez, the regional vice president of the
Broward, Palm Beaches, St. Lucie Realtors organization.
