Zoning Division Holds Development Review Forum

On February 28, 2024, the Planning, Zoning and Building Dept.'s Zoning Division held a Development Review Forum (DRF) meeting at Vista Center in West Palm Beach.   Staff from various Development Review Officer (DRO) County agencies participated including representatives from other agencies such as the Department of Housing and Economic Development and the Health Department.  

The purpose of the DRF quarterly meetings is to provide an open forum on Zoning processes and regulations to improve communication and operations, along with ensuring the land development regulations are updated in response to industry trends.  Over 50 participants were in attendance.  

The agenda included a number of items including a brief overview of the Unified Land Development Code (ULDC) amendments that are currently in process and highlights on upcoming planned Zoning processing improvements.

Zoning Director Lisa Amara led the forum, providing introductory remarks and answering questions.
